How To Link Godaddy Email To Gmail Account

Connecting your business email with your existing Gmail account is very helpful in managing your emails. Once you connect it to Gmail account, you don’t have to check 2 different inboxes for new emails.
To connect a business email account with Gmail, we need to forward all incoming emails to Gmail

Simple steps to connect business email-gmail account:

1. Sign in to Godaddy Cpanel
2. Scroll down to Email section and click on Forwarders

3. Next, click on Add Forwarder

4. Enter your email in the Address to Forward box (based on what you have created like contact or support, in my case I have created as contact)
  • Then enter your Gmail id in Forward to Email Address box (shown in the picture below)
  • Next, click on Add Forwarder

That’s it, we are done with forwarding the emails from GoDaddy to Gmail.

Enabling some setting Gmail:

Before we receive emails into gmail account, we need to enable some settings in Gmail
1. To do that click on Home

2. Next, click on cPanel Email under Your Building Tools

3. Click on More and click on Configure Email Client

4. Now scroll down to Manual Settings and copy the Outgoing server (do not copy SMTP Port: 465)

5. Now go to your Gmail account

7. Click on Accounts and Imports
    Next click on add another email address you own

A new window pops-up
8. Type any name in the Name section
     Type the new email id that you have created in GoDaddy in the Email address section
     Then, click on Next Step

9. Paste the outgoing server in the SMTP Server section that you have copied from GoDaddy
     Type GoDaddy email address in the Username section
     Type your GoDaddy password
     Then click on Add Account

Now, Gmail will send you a confirmation code to your Gmail id
10. Go to inbox and copy the confirmation code

11. Paste the code and click on Verify

12. Once again, go to settings in gmail
      Click on Accounts and Import
      Click on make default

That’s it, you have configured everything in your gmail

2. You can send emails either from your gmail address or from your business email address by clicking on the arrow (shown in the picture below)
